Background Information:
We were kids just trying to busy ourselves in a small town with cornfields on all sides. Central Illinois at the end of the last millennium claimed the mild musical successes of Hum and Planes Mistaken for Stars. For some of us, this was all we needed for an invitation into the world of D.I.Y. touring.

We had been in local level bands for a few years. We made noise in our basements until it started to resemble songs. We set up all-ages shows in American Legion / VFW halls, house basements, and churches.

Then, we picked up a copy of Maximumrocknroll’s “Book Your Own Fucking Life” and started calling and sending e-mails. Weekend trips around the region quickly turned into week-long tours, monthlong tours, and for acts such as The Forecast, Scouts Honor, The Great Redneck Hope, and Low Red Land, consecutive months on the road in efforts to spread our music.

Ten years later, we can say that those tours were some of the best times of our lives, as we work to continue making music and aid younger generations in sharing their talents and stories with the world.

Many labels don’t make it this far. We are thankful for all of the support from friends, artists, fans, disc jockeys, stores, distros, and publications. Here’s to ten more years!
